We are pleased to announce
the 2024 read is
A Land Remembered
This year’s community read is A Land Remembered by Patrick D. Smith. Written in 1984, it was the first book chosen for the One Book One Putnam Community Read’s inaugural reading season. A classic tale of the heartache and triumphs of the lives of Florida’s early pioneer settlers, A Land Remembered has been a recommended classroom book and an award-winning choice for Florida historical fiction lovers for decades.
All of your Putnam County Libraries have copies of this classic in its original format, as well as a version developed especially for young readers. It’s also available in audiobook and graphic novel format. Check it out today!
